2010 Cruise to the Woods Pictures
For those of you anxiously waiting, the 2010 Cruise to the Woods pictures are done.
So kick back during these long cold, snowy winter nights and check out the great cars.
There were over 1,400 cars at the 2010 Cruise to the Woods and our photographer, Mindy Rundell, was able to get pictures of the majority of cars attending. It is impossible to get all the cars and some came too early to get their pictures taken. In a few cases, if a car did not have a picture this year, but had in the past, that picture was added and I tried to note the year. On the other hand, not all participants register at the show, which makes their pictures unknown. The pictures were broken down into categories – St Rods, by year, and by the most popular models such as Camaro,Mustang etc. The majority of the cars were matched with their owners, but, please note that there are going to be errors. The first problem is I am a woman and though my husband has tried to teach, I still don’t remember how many headlights one year has, verses another; that one has this, another that….but then you get into the street rods, where rules are made to be broken and parts mixed no matter the brand and rat rods are even more interesting to figure….and then the newer cars that are hard to tell apart. Colors didn’t always help, the pictures aren’t always true to color, as you can see between one photo and the next, and some of you put fancy names that I have no idea what it is and one guy just put down “pretty”. Thank you to all who gave me their license plate #S and actually had front plates – that really helped…………. What it comes down to is that much of this is a guess, so if you see an error PLEASE, first don’t get mad, then e-mail me the correction or let me know what an un-identified car is and if you know, the owner. WELL YOU GET THE IDEA. If you would like one of the pictures e-mailed to you (you cannot get them from the slide show) please e-mail me – I need the info at the bottom of the picture and which group it is in to identify it. I wish to thank our photographer Mindy Rundell of Ames, Without her help you would not be enjoying this slide show. Mindy had graciously offered to take the pictures for us and stood by the gate the whole time. Also, thanks to Ron Boelts, who graciously sent some of his pictures of the cruise to us and they turned out to be just what I needed. Thanks, Ron. If you have pictures from the cruise of cars we missed, I would appreciate them. I will be updating these slideshows as new pictures come in and corrections or additions are made. Also, if anyone is willing to give us a copy of the pictures they take of next year's cruise, we would be happy to give you a free entry, free t'shirt and our upmost appreciation. The 2010 pictures are again in slide show format to make it easier to view a larger picture.
